Abstract

What do you think are some pivotal skills that hospital administrators should possess?” “I believe in the three A’s of medicine—availability, affability and ability. Although these were developed as critical skillsets for physicians to have when providing care to patients, because most hospital leadership are trained physicians or must interact with trained physicians, I believe it is of the utmost importance that all leaders possess these qualities.”
